Web Design for architecture firm

Deliverables: Web Design
Tools: Adobe XD / Illustrator

Project assigned by Hype, a non-profit advertising agency. Nerike is an architecture firm that was in need of a new web design. They wished for a clean and intuitive design that nicely represented the nature of the brand. The company is small, unpretentious, and down-to-earth. They pointed out the distinction from other firms in the industry, often perceived as fancy and unreachable. Therefore, they stressed the importance of sending the message of being humble and open to help anyone.

We worked in a team of four, one project manager, one copywriter, and two designers. We started off by analyzing the website to distinguish the weaknesses and main areas of focus. The website was initially cluttered with extensive texts and didn't highlight their services. During the development process, we had frequent contact with the company, we received feedback and iterated accordingly. In line with their wishes, we created a design that would feel inviting and unpretentious. The result is a more classic look regarding both typography, colors, and information architecture. It highlights the firm's offer and has improved navigation, which should result in a better user experience. The design has been edited after the project end.
